DenWorks is an independent studio based in the United Kingdom, and the data controller for this website. The short version: this site uses no cookies, no analytics, and no trackers, and we do not build a profile of you. The detail is below.

Cookies and tracking

This website sets no cookies of its own, runs no analytics, and carries no advertising or third-party tracking scripts. Our fonts are served from this site rather than a third party, so visiting a page does not call out to anyone else.

Server logs

The site is hosted on Firebase Hosting, a Google service. Like any web host, it keeps standard server logs, which can include your IP address, the pages requested, and your browser type, to serve the site and keep it secure. We rely on our legitimate interests in running a safe, working website as the basis for this. Google acts as our processor and handles this data under its own terms.

International transfers

Google may store those hosting logs on servers in the United States. That transfer is protected by Google LLC's certification under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and its UK Extension, which the UK and EU recognise as providing adequate protection.

When you email us

If you email us, we receive your message and your email address so we can reply. We rely on our legitimate interests in responding to you as the basis for this. We keep that correspondence only as long as we need it to help you, and we never add you to a marketing list.

Your rights

Under UK and EU data protection law (UK GDPR / GDPR) you have rights over any personal data we hold, including access, correction, and erasure, and the right to object to processing we base on legitimate interests. To make a request, email us and we will help. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), the UK's data protection regulator, at ico.org.uk, or to your local supervisory authority if you are in the EU or EEA.
